This is the area around Glasgow and the River Clyde, which includes: East & West Dunbartonshire to the north of Glasgow and the River Clyde North & South Lanarkshire, which follows much of the Clyde valley itself Renfrewshire, East Renfrewshire and Inverclyde to the west of Glasgow and south of the Clyde This area, along with Ayrshire, also covers the ancient kingdom of the Britons of Strathclyde. |
